This Los
Angeles map
shows strength of the network, the ethnic diversity of Los Angeles,
and the strategic geographic placement of the CHIC community partners
to engage the diverse populations in clinical research. Specifically,
darker shaded areas are predominantly ethnic minority; unshaded areas
are multicultural with no predominant ethnic group; and the remainder
(suburban) of the areas are majority white, but most of these areas
have 20-30% of the population representing ethnic minority groups.
